ABOUT US

Liz and Trevor

We are a small kennel situated at the foot of the Blue Mountains in Windsor Sydney, Australia. We aquired our first Miniature Bull terrier from Joy Schafer at Schardale Kennels. With the intention of showing and breeding. We had always admired the Bull terrier and the Mini seemed to fit our lifestyle well. We fell in love with Joys Schardale Moustache Pete at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. So we were hooked!

We had to decide on a prefix. Seeing as these dogs were known as the 'Gladiators of the Canine Race' we came up with 'Warriorbull'. A Strong and proud Warrior and the Bull of the Bull Terrier.

Schardale My Cool Dude was our first mini. Sadly he passed away when he was only 12 months. We then purchased Schardale Master Calvin. So named after the cartoon 'Calvin and Hobbes'. Calvin joined our staffy Bonnie and our Chihuahua cross Little-Bear. We lived then on 40 acres with my horse Blue and numerous cows and a huge Murray Grey bull. Calvin and the Bull struck up a friendship and Calvin would be found sitting under the bull leaning on his back legs watching the calves and cows. When the bull moved to other paddocks Calvin would be with my horse. Calvin has been the funniest most comical dog I have known.

Then came Schardale Sheez No Angel ( and she is not!!) Chloe our first breeding girl. Inbetween having two children we found time for Chloes first litter of 6 healthy pups. We kept the girl Warriorbull Bed O Roses. Rosie won her first Best Of Breed at the NSW Bull Terrier Show at 8 months and received her first set of points towards her ROM. Rosie achieved her ROM at the NSW Bull Terrier Show 26/3/2005. So we are very proud.

All our dogs are excellent with our children .They sit in the whelping box with mum and pups at 2 days of age. All our dogs eat bones and our children can cuddle and lie on them while they eat! The dogs all agree on one thing though, if a child falls over they are fair game for a lick. Childrens toys are a prize and are to be chewed as fast as possible.

We believe in a natural diet of raw meat and bones and a natural way of rearing the pups. Mum stays with puppies all the time and when the puppies are about 4/5 weeks they get introduced to all the other adult dogs. Puppies must learn to respect an adult dog in their pack. Bonnie the staffy is an excellent baby sitter and Calvin is a great uncle (everyone just humours Little-Bear.)

We start training the puppies from about 5/6 weeks of age. Not to jump up and not to nip, but most importantly to come when called and we also start them walking on leads.

We welcome any inquiries and keep in touch with our puppy buyers.
